On Friday October 10th, The National Forest Foundation is presenting “Rock the Moke,” a FUNdraiser event for the Mokelumne River Restoration Fund. The “Mighty Moke” supplies clean drinking water to the East Bay, and it needs our help! Enjoy musical entertainment from Grammy nominated P-Funk All Star Ronkat Spearman’s Katdelic, The Over Overs, and Cello Joe, live painting by Mónico Chávez and nosh on small plates from Celebrity Chef Michael Cook of À Côté and Rumbo Al Sur Restaurants. Also featuring a silent auction with passes to popular festivals and concerts, vacations, wine, artwork, outdoor gear, and much more. All proceeds from this event will go towards projects that restore the watershed and protect our future supply of clean water in the East Bay. It all happens Friday 10/10 at Leo’s in Oakland (Telegraph at 55th, in the Temescal neighborhood).
